Lowe Innovations Lab

Lowe's Innovation Labs is the research and development unit of Lowe's Companies, a Fortune 50 US home improvement retailer, headquartered in Kirkland, Washington. The lab designs and pilots robotics technology for retail environments, most notably LoweBot — an Autonomous Retail Service Robot (ARSR) deployed in 2017 across select Bay Area Lowe's stores to help customers navigate aisles and locate products, while also enabling real-time inventory monitoring for store associates. Beyond LoweBot, the lab explores soft robotics, store digital twins, and AI-driven in-store experiences.
