Aldebaran

Aldebaran is a French robotics company founded in 2005 in Paris, known for developing humanoid robots for education, research, and human interaction. Its flagship products include the NAO humanoid robot and Pepper, a semi-humanoid robot designed to recognize human emotions. After a period as SoftBank Robotics Europe, the company reverted to the Aldebaran name in 2022 before entering liquidation; core assets including NAO and Pepper were acquired by Maxtronics.
